Creative Writing - Falling Off Bike Picture!
Roughly desending through the air. Time stood still. What felt like i was falling for hours was infact seconds. Looking down at the dark grey, gravel road underneath me made me feel sick. Seeing the odd sharp stone across the rough texture of the gravel and knowing that I was plumiting towards it was terrifying and even a bit intimitading. I know this sounds cheesy but my life really was flashing before my eyes. The dominant force of gravity pushing me down made me feel so vunerable and defenceless and thinking what was to come of me in a matter of seconds was daunting. All of these thoughts had time to hurry through my head during those long four seconds while I was plunging through the air. I smashed to the ground, head first, with unbelievable impact. The gravel was warm but I was cold with fear. It was then I noticed that people were around me. The gasp from the crowd as I lie limp on the ground was nausiating. The gravel burned my skin and all i could hear was a low murmer from the crowd and my heart beat pulsing viciously through my head. It was then that I realised something was horribly wrong. What had I done? Why couldnt I have just said no? And why did I not wear a helmet? But instead I was here, with my bike bouncing down the steep slope and excrusiating pain panging through my whole body. But this was it, I shut my eyes tight and left all the pain behind...
